Responsibilities:
- Onboarding new payroll clients to ADP.
- Gathering information on hours worked for each employee
- Calculating the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses, and other incentives
- Managing payments through various channels, including direct deposit, checks, or cash
- Executing pay orders and distributing paychecks to employees
- Processing taxes and employee benefits, including vacation time, sick leave, health insurance, and retirement savings plans
- Tracking wage and hire information, such as new hires, promotions, and terminations
- Responding to employee and management payroll questions and concerns
- Preparing reports on payroll expenses, taxes, and other related data
- Demonstrating proficiency in payroll management software and relevant databases
- Process and audit payroll for assigned clients
- Ensure all payroll documentation is complete and accurate
- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies or errors
- Stay up-to-date with relevant payroll laws and regulations
- Maintain confidential information in a professional manner
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing
- Strong Excel skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of relevant state and federal laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of payroll software and systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- A commitment to accuracy and timeliness
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
Salary and Benefits:
- Position starts as part-time and will work up to a full-time position as we bring on more clients.
- Starting Salary $30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
