Penobscot Bay Medical Center seeks a staff pharmacist with the ability to work in all areas of our busy hospital pharmacy to include clinical activities associate! d with our Meditech clinical information system, chemotherapy, iv admixture and outpatient prescription programs. This individual will also review and interpret medication orders utilizing profiles to help ensure appropriate pharmaceutical care for all patient age groups, including identification of undesirable drug interaction, prevention of duplicate drug therapy, prevention of allergic drug reaction, and dispensation of correct medication doses for patient's clinical condition.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college and current licensure as Pharmacist in the State of Maine. P revious experience in hospital pharmacy desirable.
