Promotes rational drug therapy for MaineGeneral Medical Center patients by coordinating drug distribution activities, monitoring patients for potential drug related problems, insuring appropriate drug therapy and serving as a drug information resource for patients, physicians, nurses and other health professionals. Requirements: Hospital pharmacy experience in unit-dose, IV admixtures, and drug therapy monitoring, licensed by the Maine Commission of Pharmacy or eligible for same through reciprocation required. Annual re-licensure with proof of 15 continuing education contact hours as required by law. BCLS certification preferred.
