Fallbrook Woods , Maine’s Leading Memory Care Community, is seeking to hire an experienced RN as our Resident Services Director .
The Resident Services! Director is an integral member of the leadership team, taking primary responsibility for all aspects of resident's care and setting performance expectations for nursing staff. This includes coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration and teamwork, supporting company culture, managing change, providing timely performance feedback, delegating effectively, resolving conflicts and carries out these responsibilities with integrity, compassion and the desire to make a difference in the lives of the residents and families we serve.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Initial and ongoing assessment of resident’s health status and care needs, from admission to discharge
- Regulatory compliance for Residential Care
- Acts as a liaison between residents and their families, administration and staff as well as the residents’ physician, pharmacist, other medical personnel and coordinates services with outside providers, as needed!
- Oversees all resident care records and documentation!
- HR-hiring, coaching, supervising, mentoring, staff development and performance evaluations
- Schedule and staff your department to ensure excellence in care and service at all times
- Demonstrate to staff and others the ability to work with residents with varying stages of memory impairment.
- Conduct rounds on a regular basis, including all shifts as needed
- On-call (rotation)
- Current Maine RN License
- Experience in residential care and regulatory compliance
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to use computers and software applications
- Demonstrated competence in budget management
- Knowledge of healthcare, Alzheimer’s, dementia, other memory impairments and aging issues
