Pharmacy Informatics Analyst

Works as a consultant with management team, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, physicians, department heads, user groups, and key users to analyze, design, develop, implement, and train current and new projects and modifications. This position conducts special studies and analyses regarding development of new information systems to meet current and projected pharmacy needs. Identifies and implements information system solutions that support more efficient and effective work p! erformance based on inherent knowledge of clinical and busines! s functions and processes. Assists in developing and managing project plans for deployment of new and/or changes to pharmacy information system applications.
Qualifications/Competencies :
Eligibility for licensure with the Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician required
Associate’s degree, in Information Technology or in a Clinical Discipline (ex: Pharmacy) preferred
3 years or more preferred
Proficiency in a suite of Microsoft Office applications
Understanding of healthcare and clinical environment.
Understanding of medical terminology.
Understanding of Pharmacy workflow and practice.
Pharmacy technician experience preferred.
