The Epic Willow (Pharmacy) and Beacon (Oncology) Instructional Designers role is to successfully create, implement, and maintain training and training! curricula for the WILLOW/BEACON applications. Responsibilities include: Master the Epic Willow/Beacon applications, Develop lesson plans and training materials, Build, test and maintain the Willow/Beacon training environments, Design, develop and deliver instructor-led training classes and Coordinate training for software releases and updates. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Epic Willow/Beacon certification (within 6 months), Have strong clinical knowledge of Inpatient Pharmacy and Oncology clinical workflows, Self-motivated, organized and capable of handling multiple responsibilities to successful completion, Very strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, analytical and creative thinking skills and Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician experience preferred, but not required.
This position involves both training and end user support for MaineHealth members and affiliates. Work includes curriculum design and development, go-live support ! documentation and training of software systems that touches th! e entire scope of Willow (Pharmacy) and Beacon (Oncology. Work is performed under minimal supervision and is reviewed by the Supervisor of Inpatient Training.
This position involves training and end-user support of computer software for MaineHealth members and affiliates, Maine Medical Center (MMC), and other ambulatory physician practices in the community. Work includes curriculum design and development, documentation and training of software systems that are administrative and clinical in nature. Formal classroom training and troubleshooting of MS Office products is required. A thorough understanding and training of physicians, nurses, medical students, residents, nursing students and other clinical staff on supported clinical systems, such as Sunrise Clinical Manager, Sunrise Record Manager, EpicCare Ambulatory and others is required. Experience with elearning system design, development, administration and reporting is desired. Experience with teaching web desig! n and development is desired.The training role involves classroom-based training of end-users and limited one-on-one training as directed, as well as the research, development, evaluation and administration of training materials and media. Work is complex, analytical, and problem solving in nature, and is performed with a high degree of independence. Work is performed under minimal supervision and is reviewed by the Manager of Desktop Services.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
3 to 5 years experience in healthcare, education, Information Services or computer software training and troubleshooting required
Experience with elearning system design, development, administration and reporting is desired.
For Epic Training positions, Bachelor's degree required or year-for-year credit for Epic experience/certification.
Experience with training and support of web design ! and development is desired.
Experience with SharePoint documen! t management system is desired.
