POSITION SUMMERY

This position sits within the EMEA payroll team based in Budapest. The team is in control of the end to end delivery of several payrolls across our EMEA region. This role is to ensure the successful delivery of the payroll with the possibility to work on different payroll country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collation & Calculation of payroll input where appropriate
  • Working within our defined processes to ensure no control or compliance breaches
  • Work with the appointed payroll vendor to ensure all payments are efficiently led in a timely manner (employee, third party and statutory).
  • Ensure timely delivery of all payroll reports to customers
  • Providing first line support for all payroll and tax related queries
  • Maintain payroll manuals and related payroll instructions
  • Work with payroll provider to guarantee that tax year end reports are delivered in accordance with country legislation and on time
  • Assist and support internal and external audit teams
  • Work with colleagues from around the business to ensure smooth end 2 end payroll processing
  • Introduce process improvements within assigned countries and beyond
  • Participate in business/functional projects as required.
  • Any other duties to guarantee the delivery of a first class payroll service to our colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years Payroll Experience and Technical knowledge of payroll processing for EMEA
  • English and another EMEA language skills are key.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal & written with the ability to connect with individuals at all levels within the organisation
  • Experience of working within a Shared Service/Payroll environment would be preferable
  • Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Skills, specifically upgrade excel skills (including Pivot Tables & Look Up).
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, including those of paperwork and files, with validated ability to balance multiple tasks at once and deal successfully with stress.
  • Strong interpersonal skills assuring timely completion of the payrolls, within required time scales.
  • Accuracy, attention to details and numeracy skills are needed.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvement.
