Working under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician assists by performing technical functions relative to the handling and distribution of pharmaceuticals and related clerical tasks.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED is required. Ideal candidate will have experience working in the healthcare field, including pharmacy, however willing to train the right individual. Must be a fast learner, highly reliable and possess the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. Legible handwriting and familiarity with computer usage required. Eligible for licensure or Licensed as Pharmacy Technician with State of Maine, renewed annually.
