Location: Calais, Maine

As the Director of Pharmacy you will oversee all pharmacy operations at including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising! activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs. Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the continued growth, development, and implementation operational systems that support safe delivery of pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree (Bachelors or PharmD)
• Current ME license in good standing or the ability to obtain one
• Experience as a pharmacist in a hospital setting (will also consider PGY1 and 1 year hospital experience)
• Managerial experience in a hospital environment preferred

Facility: Calais Regional Hospital (CRH) is a critical access hospital with 25 acute care beds and a 24-hour emergency department. CRH serves Northeastern Washington County and is the largest employer in ! Calais. The hospital relocated to a newly built facility in 20! 06. Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to CPS.
