Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience
High School Degree or GED preferred
Two years of previous office billing and collection experience preferred
Knowledge of UB, 1500 claim forms, CPT codes, CPC codes and ICD-9 codes
Strong knowledge of third party payors
Working knowledge of Excel
Physical Requirements:
Good visual acuity and ability to communicate.
Ability to lift, lower, push, pull, and retrieve objects weighing a minimum of 30 pounds. Reasonable assistance may be requested when lifting, pushing, and/or pulling are undertaken which exceeds these minimum requirements.
Ability to withstand prolonged, sitting, computer and telephone usage.

- Demonstrates knowledge of billing, collections, financial classes and payor sources.
- Adheres to federal, regional, state, local and contractual regulatory requirements.
- Responsible for supporting all documentation, distribution and archiving requirements
