Valmet’s global tax team is growing and now we are looking for skilled and motivated person to join the team. We offer you the opportunity to work with various interesting tax matters in global business environment as a Tax specialist/ Senior Tax Specialist. Valmet’s tax team is responsible for all tax matters in Valmet Group and we are located in Valmet head office in Espoo.
Your main responsibilities:

Various tasks related to direct and indirect taxation, such as working with international tax questions related to global business projects

Coordinating the global tax compliance
-
Managing tax audits
-
Preparing in-house training materials and presentations
-
Other tasks related to direct and indirect taxation
-
Responsibilities are determined based on your level of competence
To succeed in this position, we expect you to have:
-
Master’s degree in Law or Economics
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax
-
Experience in VAT, transfer pricing or international corporate taxation
-
Ability to work to strict deadlines and on several assignments at the same time
-
High motivation to develop and receptive for feedback
-
Proactive attitude and ability to work independently
-
Strong collaborating skills and capability for teamwork
-
Fluency in English
