Job Description
- Design, implement and maintain complex networks using products from Cisco.
- Build, operate, and manage Network Operations centre for managing incidents and problem.
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
- Troubleshoot issues with networks, hardware, and software.
- Perform speed and security tests on installed networks.
- Apply network security upgrades.
- Upgrade/replace hardware and software systems when required.
- Create and present networking reports.
- Train end-users on installed networking products.
Primary Skills
- LAN/WAN administration with 5+ years of experience
- SD-WAN
- Network Operations Center (NOC) operations
- Cisco switches and routers
- Fortigate firewall
Secondary Skills
- Experience with storage engineering, wide-area networking, and network virtualization.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
