To be successful in the role, you will be required the following
- Ability to provide personal and domestic care to the clients who live with disability
- A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people
- Good communication skills
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- High level of time management and organisational ability
- Willingness to participate in further education opportunities
- Minimum 2-3 weekdays of availability on a weekly basis
- Previous experience working as support worker or similar (preferred)
- Female english speaking staff is highly preferred as requested by the client
Essential Requirements
- No formal qualification is necessary, however, Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is an advantage
- Satisfactory Australian National Police check and Working With Children Check
- Current or willing to obtain a First Aid and CPR certificate
- Current Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Has experience working with client's in a hospital setting
Base pay
From $30.54 per hour
Job Type: Casual
Salary: Up to $38.08 per hour
