Jack Yeh Professional Corporation is a full service accounting firm of professional accountants and staff who are focused on client centric accounting and tax advisory servies. We are seeking Mandarin speaking full cycle bookkeeper/accountant assistant to join our North York office

Job Title: Bookkeeper

Duties:
- Perform bookkeeping and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Perform payroll related tasks such as process payroll, calculate WSIB, EHT, prepare ROE
- Prepare tax returns(T1,T2, T4, T5)
- Prepare books for year end
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax preparation

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role for minimum of 2 years
- Proficient in QuickBook and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in Mandarin and English

Salary: From $45,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:

  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

  • QuickBooks: 2 years (preferred)
  • Bookkeeping: 2 years (required)
