Casual positions available on the picking crew of our production team. Some work in the production area also required.
This is a very hands on role and would suit someone who is physically capable of spending a lot of time on their feet in a coolroom environment. Experience not necessary as training is provided. Looking for staff who can work in a team with others but also independently.
Our working week is Sunday from 2pm and Monday to Thursday from 2pm. Finish times vary, must be able to finish no earlier than 8pm.
This job requires compulsory shifts on Wednesday and Thursdays, no exceptions.
APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
- Competently and without assistance lift 15 - 25kg frequently.
- Work in a cool room environment (below 5 degrees).
- Physically capable of bending, lifting, twisting, stretching and reaching forward frequently.
- Have attention for detail, with the ability to count and calculate quickly
- Possess good communication skills
