The McKesson Consultant in this job will supervise a team of employees assigned to provide support to the Electronic Health Records System. The consultant assumes primary responsibility for the design, testing, training, implementation and on-going monitoring of the Document Imaging System and the electronic medical record forms applications, interface monitoring, and coordination with hospital information systems.
The McKesson Consultant require! ments are listed below:
- Minimum of three year! s of hospital related experience
- Minimum one year supervisory experience
- Previous experience as a project manager or related leadership role
- Previous experience with healthcare information technologies and previous experience managing IT implementation projects
- Experience working with document imaging technology
- Understanding of the hospital revenue cycle management
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient in report writing software, such as SQL, Crystal Reports, On Demand, MS Access and process engineering skills
- License as RHIA, RHIT, RN, LVN, Therapist, or Pharmacist
