Description: Oversee fill orders and dispense medications/prescriptions prescribed by an authorized prescriber and resolve medication-related problems to ensure a safe and optimal patient and customer outcome. Maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; counseling patients on their prescriptions. You will promote, through criteria based protocols, clinically rational drug therapy and sound pharmaceutical care. Update the Pharmacy Manager about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Manager in maintaining the pharmacy. You will also maintain communication with a broad healthcare team .
Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
- ME Pharmacist license in good standing
- Experience as a Pharmacist in a clinic, outpatient or re! tail setting with MTM, immunizations and 340b preferred Demonstrated organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
