Working under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician assists by performing technical functions relative to the handling and distribution of pharmaceuticals and related clerical tasks.
Minimum Q! ualifications: High School diploma or GED. Minimum 1-3 years experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy preferred; previous health care experience required. Special Note: An applicant with greater than one year of experience in an activity involving medication familiarity may have this requirement reduced. Legible handwriting. Licensed as Pharmacy Technician with State of Maine, renewed annually.
