Description:
As the Outpatient Pharmacy Manager you will oversee the pharmacy operations, supervise pharmacy staff, fill orders and dispense medications/prescriptions prescribed by an authorized prescriber and resolve medication-related problems to ensure a safe and optimal patient and customer outcome. You will promote, through criteria based protocols, clinically rational drug therapy and sound pharmaceutical care. You will act as the Pharmacist In Charge and will supervise the outpatient pharmacy staff (potentially 3 Pharmacist and 3 Pharmacy Technicians).
Qualifications:
Must have a Pharmacy Degree (BS or PharmD)
Must have a ME Pharmacist license in good standing
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years previous outpatient pharmacy management experience
340B experience preferred
Certified immunizer preferred or willing to become a certified immunizer
Ab! ility to work independently, set priorities, make critical dec! isions, and respond to client concerns
Ability to work cooperatively with other members of hospital and pharmacy staff, as well as CPS staff
Facility: The pharmacy hours are Monday thru Friday 7am to 5pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm.
