Description: Soliant Health is currently interviewing Clinical Pharmacistâ€"Specialist Job â€" Maine right now, this position will be situated in Maine. Large hospital in Maine is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist that specializes in internal medicine, specifically with cardiology and/or critical care. Pay is very competitive and the schedule provides a good work-life balance. Relocation assistance is offered. The start date is ASAP and interviews will begin promptly.
Job responsibilities include weight-based and renal dosing, anti-coagulation dosing and monitoring, pharmacokinetics, pain management consultations, medication reconciliation and review of contraindications and duplications of therapy. Involvement in safety and quality initiatives. Engaged in review of anti-infectives and optimization of therapy. Management of IV to PO conversion and cost-saving initiatives.
Teaching, precepting and mentoring Pharmacy staff, PGY1 Residents and Pharmacy students. The ideal candidate has a PGY2 in internal medicine or 5+ years of clinical work, a clear ME License or eligibility to reciprocate, a PharmD, great communication, leadership and organizational skills, and a great attitude to work hard with the team and serve patients.
